The Christian Bear

There was a man who one day didnt feel like going to church so he decided to go hunting instead.
He was out in the bush when he was aproched from behind by a bear. He dropped his gun by accident but didnt bother to pick it up.
He ran for his life. Weaving in and out the trees with the bear on his trail. Curving around a tree he triped over its root.
He looked up and the bear looked down. The bear was about to strike at him. He put his hands together and prayed:
"Dear lord, Please let this bear be a christian."
the bear sat down on its bum and held the mans hands, closed his eyes and said: "Dear lord, Thank you for the food that i am about to receive"



I Know This Lawyer

A small town prosecuting attorney called his first witness to the stand in a trial-a grandmotherly, elderly woman. He approached her and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know me?"


She responded, "Yes, I do know you Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy. And frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs.
You think you're a rising big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you."


The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs. Williams, do you know the defense attorney?"
She again replied, "Why, yes I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. I used to baby-sit him for his parents. And he, too, has been a real disappointment to me. He's lazy, bigoted, he has a drinking problem. The man can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the shoddiest in the entire state. Yes, I know him."


At this point, the judge ordered the courtroom to silence and called both counselors to the bench. In a very quiet voice, he said with menace, "If either of you asks her if she knows me, you'll be in jail within 3 minutes!"

One week ago...

It's been a week since NSCFL 09... Whoa.. Time is running faster than me..

Life's been such a warzone ever since camp. The world is just too polluted and temptations is everywhere.. We're just too sinful people. Imperfect. But still... we could always try harder to be GOOD right?? x) So lets all be a good-er person! It's really different after i had reached home... After 6 days out of it... i actually missed home! I missed my mum so much that i cried when i see her.. It's... awkward. Hey Hey!!! Im back from camp! Can't tell how awesome it was because it was just way too AWESOME! A camp which should NEVER be missed! :)Anyway... NSCFL Camp will be posted up later due to toomanypictures XD Now i just wanna share this really touching story about Derek Redmond that happened in year 1992.

It was the most memorable moment of the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Four years earlier, just 10 minutes before the starting gun, record-holder Derek Redmond had withdrawn from running the 400 meter race due to an Achilles tendon injury. Five surgeries and four years later he wanted to win a medal. It was his day.

Moments into the race Derek was in the lead, a shoo in to win the race with only 175 meters to go. Then he heard a pop – his right hamstring snapped. He fell to the surface. After the other runners passed him, he got up on one leg and started hopping, not toward the infield and the medics and stretchers, but toward the finish line. He told the medical crew, “There’s no way I’m getting on that stretcher. I’m going to finish my race!”

65,000 people in the stands and millions around the world watched via television and they were all clapping, cheering and crying. Derek’s dad jumped from the stands to support his trip down the track. “We’ll finish together,” Jim whispered to his weeping son.The crowd went wild as Derek crossed the finish line. Father and son embraced and wept together.

Pictures says a thousand words. This picture to me reminds us of our heavenly father and how he is always there for us. Helping us through every difficulties till we reach our finish line ;)

Well i just thought to leave you some movie tips&advice before i leave :)

I bet everyone knows about the year 2012 and what might happen.. Well whether you believe it or not thats your matter.. But this is a movie you HAVE to check out!

It's such an AWESOME movie! The only sad thing is you'll see LOADS of people die so it's quite depressing acttually >.<>

I rate it 9/10. It gave me end-of-the-world nightmare after that so can't give it a 10 :P

But whatever it is it's a MUST WATCH!

Celebrating

The 100th Post!!!

Haha... Actually made a record ^^ So schools over and so are exams... And lets NOT talk about exams... I just so wanna burn my friggin papers... >.<

So far i have been Plants.vs.Zombieing XD

Was so much addicted thanks to someone >.<

Other than that everything just goes on as usual :P Sometimes holidays could be pretty boring and it makes you misses school sometimes... hmm... I do know CERTAIN nerds that do but not me! No way of me missing school this early of the holidays XD Haha. I do have this tendency of getting a job as well... Yeah... Really want to gain experience.. and cash XD See me as a waitress? lol.

By the way! Christmas is 33 days to go!!!! yay! Really do look forward to see christmas decorations hanging around. It's such a giving Festival! XD Oh! Anyone free on the 15th and 16th Dec? There'll be a Cookie Baking and Carwash Project Organised by my school CF and will be held at my place ^.^ We certainly do need helpers to bake and wash cars ^.^ The money earn from that will then all go to charity! :D How cool is that???
